Strawberry Shortcake

Ingredients

  • * 1 cup flour
  • * 1 & 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • * 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • * 1/2 cup milk
  • * 4 & 1/2 cups sliced strawberries
  • * 1/4 cup sugar
  • * 1 & 1/2 cups yogurt

Directions

  • * Preheat oven to 220˚C (425˚F)
  • * In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, vegetable oil and milk
  • * Spoon batter onto lightly greased baking pan to create 3 biscuits
  • * Bake for 12-15 minutes, then set aside
  • * In a separate bowl, mix strawberries and sugar
  • * Cut biscuits in half and top each half with strawberry mixture and top with yogurt
