Also known as "the little gems of the citrus family".
It is much smaller and oval shaped, it is native to South-Asia and the Asia- Pacific region.
Its second name "Kumquat" translates roughly as "gold orange".
They are the only citrus fruits that can be eaten with its peel, more surprisingly, the skin tastes better than the flesh. Its skin tastes citrusy and sweet while its flesh is sour & tangy which balances the skin’s sweetness nicely.
